وَمَا كَانَ اللَّهُ لِيُعَذِّبَهُمْ وَأَنْتَ فِيهِمْ ۚ وَمَا كَانَ اللَّهُ مُعَذِّبَهُمْ وَهُمْ يَسْتَغْفِرُونَ

Men Gud ville nok ikke straffe dem mens du var blant dem. Og Gud ville heller ikke straffe dem når de bad om tilgivelse.
